Aurora: Lights of Wonder
You can experience the actual aurora with the world’s first 4K x 4K real-time VR video. Animations and CG were used to depict auroral myths and science.
Experience the aurora borealis as if you were there, thanks to the pioneering work of astrophotographer Kwon O Chul. The movie does not feature the typical time-lapse images, but instead: high resolution, hemispherical video recorded in real-time with a special low-light camera system that captures the subtle
detail, colors, dynamism and beauty of the aurora. In addition, scientific explanations and beautiful art work about the legend of the aurora are featured throughout the movie. Filmed on location in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. Produced by HugMedia, in association with COSMODREAM, DONG A SCIENCE and METASPACE.
